Please help Evelyn Collazo With Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Jevelyn Vasquez. The daughter of Evelyn Collazo. Mother of three beautiful children. She is our complete world. I have never asked for anyone’s help before nor am good at seeking help from others. But as of right now I created the fundraiser for my mother whom  has been dealing with an illness that’s has taken a turn for the worse. It’s been a battle she’s been fighting through for almost two years. In her case  has she has been a very rare. This illness can be fatal and I can’t even put into words what that would do to me and my family. She has Clostridium Difficile (C. Diff). Clostridium difficile (C. diff) is a type of bacteria that can cause colitis, a serious inflammation of the colon. Infections from C. diff often start after you've been taking antibiotics. It can sometimes be life-threatening. She’s been fighting to live every single day and it’s breaking my heart knowing such an amazing human being such as my mother is dealing with this for so long. It’s now my turn as her eldest child to help her as best I can and I’ve decided to reach out for help for the very first time through this go fund me page to see if anyone is willing to help an incredible person fight through this. Those who know my mother can tell you how wonderful and amazing she is. As a friend, worker, wife, parent and even complete stranger end up loving her. She truly has a heart of gold. And people such as my mother don’t come into your life without leaving a mark. She is everything and more and I’m so extremely proud of her. She’s fought through  this illness and it’s about time she gets well with this new treatment. So I’m asking anything you can offer will be forever grateful. No matter how little or how much you can spare . I would like to make sure my mother is able to fight through this and not have to worry about more medical expenses added during her healing. Her surgery was finally approved tomorrow 6/24/2021 which has been months of a wait list. They finally found a donor for a procedure called FMT which is Fecal Microbiota Transplant. Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) is a procedure in which fecal matter, or stool, is collected from a tested donor, mixed with a saline or other solution, strained, and placed in a patient, by colonoscopy, endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, or enema.

The purpose of fecal transplant is to replace good bacteria that has been killed or suppressed, usually by the use of antibiotics, causing bad bacteria, specifically Clostridium difficile, or C. diff., to over-populate the colon. This infection causes a condition called C. diff. colitis, resulting in often debilitating, sometimes fatal diarrhea.

Fecal transplant has also had promising results.

But the only problem with this transplant procedure is not FDA approved and is strictly out of pocket. Costing high thousands In which case is extremely pricy for something we are desperately taking a Chance on to save her life. So I’m asking for a helping hand , help my mother gain her strength and  life back. Help her gain that beautiful smile and glow she’s always had. If you can please help us as much as you can spare.
