Help my Mother get her home

I created this fundraiser for my Mother who is retiring soon.

Her dream has always been to own our home. It is a council house and they refuse to sell to us because of insufficient funds. The house is covered in mold, crumbling ceilings, walls, sewerage issues etc.

My Mother won't make it to retirement as she will soon have to give up work fully to look after my grandmother who is now in the early stages of dementia. The council will not allow my grandmother to move in with us as she cannot contribute towards the rent and they are worried about legal risks encase she becomes ill from the issues they won't fix due to 'insufficient resources'.

I love my Mam and if there is a chance I can make her dream come true in life, I'll try. She is the most amazing human being with a heart of gold and the world is blessed to have her in it. She's been working her entire life and  went straight back to work after my dad passed so that she could give myself and my brother the best life she could. 

She's an elderly carer in a nursing home because she wanted a job that allowed her to give back to one of our most vulnerable groups in life. This job isn't easy and has left her physically and emotionally wrecked at times but she still gets up the next day and gets back to work .

She’s worked through illness’s, worked long nights and traveled through desperate weather conditions to put a hot meal on the table for my brother and I even if it meant going to bed hungry herself.

Owning this home is now a necessity as it would mean we could move my grandmother in and would take a lot of stress off of my family when the time comes that she needs full time care.
