Hello everyone.
My name is Anisa and recently my mum got diagnosed with stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
The doctors have given her 12 months. She will be starting Chemotherapy next week to help prolong her life. However, through extensive research, my family and I have found an alternative therapy. The aim of this therapy is to give her a far longer life span than what the doctors are saying.
As you can imagine, when I first heard this news I was in shock. In a matter of months, I have seen my mum go from an active, happy, independent woman to being unable to walk without holding on to both my arms for balance. I have seen her grow smaller and weaker and it is heart breaking. Nowadays, she sleeps sitting up due to her swollen leg and is in extreme agony most of the time.
We would appreciate donations to help fund the alternative therapy and give my mum more years with us than she can imagine.
