Help my mum pay her travel and medical bills

Hello everyone,

My name is Sarah (26) and I am raising money for my mum/Nanay (60). It is a sensitive topic, so I am grateful for everyone who takes the time to read this.

About 1,5 years ago, my mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was given a life expectancy of 2-4 more years. After a major operation, removing a large part of her pancreas, she underwent 2 different additional chemotherapy treatments.

My mum is currently still fighting, but after her most recent scans and a talk with her doctors, we were told that no further treatment is possible. The cancer has progressed, and is much worse. My mum has tumors in several other organs, liver, gallbladder, stomach, adrenal gland and many metastases in lymph nodes. Her entire peritoneum has metastasized. This means she will no longer undergo chemo, and instead will receive treatment from a palliative team, making sure she has as little pain as possible.

With this news, we, her family, want to travel to bring her to her home country, the Philippines, as soon as we can.

Her oncologist told us; "By all means do it as soon as possible as there is no more time control, no one knows if it's weeks or months ." He told us to enjoy every day we have.

As travel costs and medical bills (medication etc.) are very high, as well as medical treatment in the Philippines, I am raising funds from donations. If you are able to contribute any amount, no matter how small, it will make a significant difference in my mums life.
