Help my nephew fight this fight with cancer
Donation protected
As many of you are already aware my nephew, Nicholas Purificato, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma just a few months ago. This is a rare type of cancerous tumor that grows in your bones or soft tissue around your bones. It affects 200 children and young adults every year in the US ranging from the ages of 10 to 20 years old. Nick who is only 10 years old unfortunately has to be one of those 200 children that has to go through this. Since being diagnosed he’s been undergoing chemotherapy every week. It’s summertime the time when a kid gets to be a kid but for him he spends most of his days in the hospital getting treatment. On top of all that we just found out due to the placement of the tumor on the heel of his foot he now has to get his right foot amputated. What this kid is about to endure most people don’t endure in a lifetime. It’s sad when bad things happen to good people especially kids. I have a 10 year old and I couldn’t imagine going through this with him. My nephew has been so strong so far and keeps a smile on his face and he is going to keep being strong and keep smiling because he has the support of his parents, his family and his friends and he will get through this. It’s going to be a long road ahead for him and also for my sister who’s been so strong during all of this and does her best to make mends meet but it’s rough for her right now due to her not being able to work because all of her time has to be with her son. With that being said this is why I’m doing this to help raise money for her, it’ll be a little bit less of a burden on her for the next few months while she’s focusing on getting her son through this. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and all proceeds goes directly to my sister Amanda Bordois. HIS FIGHT IS OUR FIGHT #letskickcancersass#
