Trying to help cover kidney transplant expenses

My name is Courtney, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my parents. Let me start by saying they have no idea about this, and would very much be against asking for help. They are always the ones giving, but I’d love to help take some of the financial stress off of them. For the last year and a half my dad has been on the list for a kidney. After a very long process, my mom found out she was a match. Both of them will be undergoing surgery on January 29th. As an only child I’m not only worried about them both, but also worried about the financial aspect of it all. Both will have to be off work for an extended amount of time. My dad hasn’t been at his job very long, so he has very little leave of his own. Any leave he has gotten has went to dr appointments. He will also have to live in the Tulsa area for at least 4 weeks. We have not found a place yet, and insurance doesn’t cover his stay. If you know my parents, you know they are amazing people who always give. I know Christmas is the worst time for this. If you can not donate, please say a prayer for them. We need those even more!
