Help my son James, fight the overwhelming costs of cancer
Donation protected
I am trying to raise money for my oldest son and his family who are going through an extremely difficult time right now. My son is 31 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 2 testicular cancer. It is a fairly aggressive form of cancer, and even though the tumor has been removed with zero margin, the germ cells have still perforated into the lymphatic system. The blood work alone that he has to get is $700 a trip. That doesn't include his office visits to see his specialists, and it doesn't include him having to start his first round of chemo to try and stop any of the germ cells from attaching and growing tumors within the lymph system.
At this time, his wife is working to try and pay the bills, and he is home trying to heal from his surgery and also taking care of the children. He is a husband to a beautiful wife named Rebecca, and a great dad to a 4-year-old daughter and a 9-month-old son. Alaska is different in how they handle certain things, and they do not qualify to be on Alaska's state insurance to help with the payments. Their current insurance does not cover the procedures as well. They are a young family in need of lots of help. They need help paying their medical bills on top of just trying to survive. And as a mom, I want to just snap my fingers and make everything better. But I'm not in the best of situations at this moment either. So, anything anybody could do to help my son and his family would be so appreciated.
