Help my son stay in Denmark

I need your help!
I am faced with a huge challenge by the Danish State regarding my son's future here in Denmark. We came home from Thailand in November with a personal bankruptcy due to Covid closing down the country. I worked with tourists there for 18 years and it all ended in March 2020.
I have been a single father since 2016 for my son Oliver, and am not married to his mother. When I lost everything after Thailand closing down for tourists, I had to save ourselves by returning to Denmark. I started the process with the state to bring my son in May 2020 and have received nothing but unclear information regarding the process for my son's passport etc.
I was informed that I had to apply for his citizenship in Denmark and the process will take 20+ months. Since we had no income and had to go home quickly, we could not wait 20 months. The Danish embassy recommended that we travel to Denmark on a tourist visa for my son and then applied for his passport when we were in Denmark.
We did so, I had to sell everything we owned to cover his visa fee and the trip home. We arrived in November with 3 suitcases and 300 USD to my name.
I had work on hand and thought my son would be able to stay here while applying for citizenship and also be able to start school.
To my great surprise, it was not like that, but on the contrary an unparalleled fight that started there. I expected that he would get a residence permit while the case was being processed on an equal footing with an application for family reunification, but this is not the case for an application for citizenship for a child of a Danish citizen, he has to wait outside Denmark for his passport application to be processed!
Since my son could not start school, I could not start work and am forced on Social Welfare - without subsidy for a child as my son can not get into the system, he is on vacation !!
For the last 3 months I have tried to get clarity for the process further as my son can not go back to Thailand without me, and we establish ourselves here in Denmark.
Most recently, I have applied for an extension of his tourist visa, which is being processed now, and at the same time I have been informed that I can only apply for Family Reunification for my son so that he can be allowed to stay. It costs just a fee of 9600 Danish Kroner!! Since I am on forced Social Welfare without a subsidy for him, it is impossible to find 9600 Danish Kroner quickly. I can not get any loans - not even the expensive consumer loans as I am new to the system and on Social Welfare.
There is no help to get from the municipalities and the state does not shy away from the high fee even though my son is documented mine and the law is skewed and deficient.
The Law for child of a Danish Citizen born outside Denmark is as following:
1. If I had a marriage certificate with his mother, he would get a passport and citizenship immediately and in the system!
2. A new law from 2014 meant that children of a Danish citizen born abroad have innate citizenship regardless of civil status of parents (married or unmarried )
In Denmark, it is openly ok to treat differently! Since my son was born 4 years before the new law and I am unmarried, he has to go through the old long journey to become Danish and fees that come up to 20,000 Danish Kroner in total!
I therefore have to find 9600 Danish Kroner quickly so that he can stay here (not be sent out of Denmark for nothing) - and upon application and fee paid, he can stay here until it is processed, about 6-7 months. However, he still can not get to school until they have processed his application, so half a year ahead on forced Social Welfare!
I only have my old father as immediate family here and he can not help out of his small pension nor has the opportunity to borrow due to his age.
I am then on my knees and very much against my nature have to ask for help with the high fee of 9600 Danish Kroner.
I have until March 30 to find that fee when his temporary residence permit expires, and still no response regarding his extension of tourist visa ....!
Any help is truely appriciated in Helping my son to stay....
