I am Doaa jadalhaq , 38 years old. I am a Palestinian from Gaza

I have a child named Omar. He is 5 years old. He suffers from autism, is nonverbal, and is experiencing the worst period of his life because of the war in Gaza.

Omar and I were in Gaza, on a family visit to my family, and I was watching the remarkable development of my son in the way he interacted with others and his love for everyone, but the war came and destroyed everything.

Omar and I lived in the most difficult conditions in the tents, and my son Omar’s condition deteriorated and he began to suffer from shock and truma due to the terrible fear he experienced. He screamed and cried every time the bombing occurred.

In exceptional circumstances, my son Omar and I left Gaza

Omar is now suffering from shock and his health and social condition has deteriorated to the worst. He is always crying and screaming loudly and remembering the bombing and destruction he experienced during the war.

We are now in Egypt, and Omar needs expensive weekly treatment fees, and he needs special schools for the autistic in order to regain the social development he experienced before the war.

My family is still in Gaza

My family's house was bombed and they are now living in tents in the most difficult living conditions that no human being can bear. There is no toilet to use and no drinking water. They are now facing death at every moment. The bombing is still dangerous and it is very close to them.

My father could not bear this situation and had a stroke. He is unable to move or speak either, and he is in the hospital now.

I am asking you for help in restoring the positive state that my son Omar was in through treatment and enrollment in schools specialized for autistic people.

I also ask for help to protect my family and get them out of Gaza
