As of September 26th, Steve has passed. They tried to resuscitate him twice and he didn't make it.

On August 23rd, 2021 at 11:51 PM, we had to call EMS for emergency transport of my Step-Dad, Steve Parent to HCA Northwest Emergency Center, as he was unresponsive to any voices or touch. Upon arrival, they determined he had contracted the Covid-19 Delta Variant on top of an additional infection that has caused his lungs to basically shut down.
At the time of writing this, he is currently on life support / ventilator support operating at 100% capacity, in a medically induced coma to preserve the functions of his organs, as the doctors feared for organ failure.
Steve Parent is a former US Navy Seal, who served on U.S. Navy Seal Team 3 and is a combat veteran. He is a loving husband and a great neighbor who helps out those in his community.
We all need help from time to time, and this is one of those times where we desperately need your help to cover emergency medical expenses and living expenses while we try to work through his recovery.
