Help a survivor fight housing and food insecurity
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Tiffany A. Flowers. I met a young man at a conference who communicated to me that he needed help. He was the victim of human trafficking. He had been bounced out of foster care without any resources. Also, the people who he ran from took all of his personal items and any means of transportation. After we talked, I realized that this child had to start completely over. He just kept stating emphatically that he wanted to go to school for three years. However, he could not get help and had no idea where to start. For the past month, my social media following, friends, sorority sisters, and family have been sending him donations to get him registered for school. He finally received word that he will start school during 2024 after completing his requirements. He has also secured employment and a place to live. However, he will need transportation to get to work and school supplies. Please note that all funds were sent directly to this young man. I did this to ensure that he could be empowered to make his own decisions. Please see the breakdown of what he needs below:
Rent Deposit and Payment for two months - $2,000
Transportation - $210
School Supplies - $240
Toiletries - $50
We raised over $1,500 for him to get a fresh start. He was able to find transitional housing with the funds raised so far. He also has a promise to get furniture donated.
Thank you for your support.
