Help Our Students Spread Kindness
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Kate and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Sunshine Elementary. This year I started a Kindness Club at my school. In this club, students from grades 2 through 5 learn the importance of being kind and helping others. There are about 70 students in the Kindness Club!
At our first meeting, we had a "Chalk the Walk" where we wrote messages of kindness and positivity on the sidewalks of our school. We hosted a candy drive in October and donated bags of candy (about 50 pounds!) to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. For December, we made holiday craft kits for children and families at the Ronald McDonald House.
We are asking for donations so that our club will be able to participate in bigger projects. We would love to be able to make blankets for the homeless.
The kids in the Kindness Club are very passionate about helping others and would love the opportunity to work on bigger projects. We would be so grateful if you could donate- any amount helps. Remember: kindness is cool!
