Help my support dog Sky beat cancer AGAIN
Donation protected
On 11/18/2023, my whole world fell apart when my support dog Sky was diagnosed with lymphoma. Lymphoma is a progressive cancer of the lymphatic system. Sky was a rescue who I adopted 3/15/2019, but who really rescued who? Words can’t explain how much this dog has done for me. I got her during a really rough time in my life. I was suffering from PTSD, anxiety and depression from past life trauma and she was there every step of the way to help me overcome these things. Before rescuing Sky, she didn’t have a good life. The vet told me that she was overbred, abused, neglected, and locked in a cage all day. What a sad life to live. Since I’ve rescued her, I have given her the world. There’s nothing that I won’t do for her because she has done SO much for me. She is more than just a dog to me. She is my whole world. The treatment for lymphoma varies, but the first step is to go through chemotherapy referred to as CHOP. It is a highly effective treatment and will put her into remission. If left untreated, she would only live 1-2 months. Chemotherapy in dogs is much different than in humans. Most dogs don’t have side effects and if they do they are very mild. The treatment is very expensive, but it is her best bet to overcome this. I will continue to post more updates as I get more information from the oncologist. Anything and everything is appreciated. Please help me save my baby ❤️
