Help Mya travel to Florida for Marine Lab

Hello this is Mya Baca I was recently accepted to participate in the MarineLab science program in Florida June of 2022. This 8-day program will allow me to engage in various labs on the Marinelabs “floating “ classroom, and daily boat trips will take us to various aquatic ecosystems to study the biodiversity found at each site.

Marine lab is a program of the Marine resources development foundation located in Key Largo, FL. It is a non-profit organization created in 1971 to help improve the quality of life on earth through education and responsible use of marine resources.

I am currently asking my family and friends for financial sponsorship to help with tuition. This experience will increase my understanding of the world and give me the opportunity to learn first hand about marine biology and ecosystems.

The program tuition is 1,800 which includes transportation , accommodations and educational activities. I am asking friends and family to help sponsor me for this trip if it is at all possible. Any amount that you would be able to contribute would be of great value and greatly appreciated.
