Help Mychael with medical and moving expenses
Donation protected
Mychael, a beautiful young woman with downs syndrome, had bleach thrown into her face.
After a year of struggles with their living situation, she and her mother had recently moved. Unfortunately, they were not welcomed with open arms and were called racial slurs on several occasions by other residents.
On the day of the incident, Mychael was walking her dog near the front office when someone in the park, rushed out from the laundry room, holding a cup of bleach and threw it into Mychael’s face. The bleach entered her eyes.
The major Crimes Unit is in charge of the investigation but no one has been arrested at this point.
Mychael was afraid to tell her mother what happened but the truth came out when she went to the doctor for her injuries. The bleach has burned her eyes to the point that they are not sure what will happen with her vision. She currently has to put cream into her eyes every two hours. Unbelievably, Mychael is the one trying to keep everyone in good spirits! This Girl is remarkable!
Due to the situation, Mychael’s mother has been unable to work. Leaving Mychael alone is not an option. An alternate place to live needs to be located but moving is expensive and so is the cost of housing. The money donated to Go Fund Me will go to the family to use as needed so that they do not need to stress about medical bills, moving expenses, household bills and any other expenses that arise or that they feel are necessary to get through this time.
