Help Naeem’s family in Gaza

Hi, my name is Cecile and I have been asked by Muhammad Iyad (Instagram: @moohammad_iyad) who I setup a different Gofundme for (https://gofund.me/3ab3d8b7), to start this one for the Al-Louh family. I pray that you are able to donate what you can, and share. Any donation amount helps, and every share helps. All donations go into my US Bank account, which I then withdraw once or twice a month to send to them via Paypal.

Their home on the Gaza border was bombed in 2014, again in 2021, and now completely destroyed this year by Israeli attacks. They now have nothing, and are sheltering in Muhammad Iyad’s home, the entire family living crowded together in one room.

Naeem Sayeed, the father, has heart disease. One of his two sons is trapped in Israel. There is no work available to any of them to make money. He has 4 daughters. One is married, who had 2 children - one was martyred, and the other a beautiful boy about 2 years old. I had a video call with them and they showed me the family and the boy, sleeping on the ground in Muhammad’s home - his peaceful sleeping face, on his back with arms out, reminded me of my own 2 year old child. The women, shy and laughing a bit, covered themselves in a blanket when the camera went to them.

They desperately need money for food and basic living necessities, especially for diapers. Their expenses are about $500/week. They also hope to raise enough money to buy a tent and eventually rebuild their home. Please see photos of their destroyed home.

It is against their custom to share photos of the women in the family, but I saw the family in a video call, the entire family filling up a room in Muhammad Iyad’s house in central Gaza, Deir Al-Balah. The attached photos show the women making bread in his house (faces hidden).

Muhammad houses others who have been displaced, this is at least the third family who has stayed with him since I started his Gofundme. He said this family will stay with him until the “war” is over, as they have nowhere else to go.
