Help Nancy and Charlie purchase a new car.

Hey everyone, Jess has an elderly widowed friend that’s at retirement age (but won’t be able to retire) that has ran into financial trouble and had her car repossessed. She has an older son that has a lot of medical needs including bringing him to dialysis twice a week, recent ICU admissions, and was put on a transplant list. She ran into financial trouble trying to pay for all the medical bills but can’t keep up. Since she lost her car she can’t now transport him to dialysis (at least not by herself) or get herself to and from work. Unfortunately the Medicaid transport company had no drivers to get him to his dialysis this week which makes it even more important she gets some assistance.

I want to help out and buy her a cheap used car that is functional. I’ve been out of the car market for a while and found out you can’t buy a good functioning beater for under a $1000 anymore like the old days. Those kind of cars are like $2500 plus. There’s cars that are being sold for $2k that need transmission replacements ‍♂️.
