Help Nancy get wheelchair van
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Brian Brewer. I'm fundraising for my daughter, Nancy Brewer. On November 8th, 1999, she suffered a Spinal AVM ("Arterial Venous Malformation"), which left her as a quadriplegic. Nancy's bright & positive future & career as a dental assistant came to an abrupt end. Unfortunately, she was not covered by insurance, and has had to struggle for everything she's received.
The government funding is extremely limited, and it does not cover essential accessibility equipment, such as wheelchairs, lifts & accessible vehicles. It took us over 15 years to be able to purchase her a powered wheelchair. As we, her parents, are getting older, and with medical conditions ourselves, it's getting much harder to get around.
It is very important for her to have an accessible wheelchair van, to help with everyday tasks, such as medical appointments, shopping, and to improve her overall quality of life.
We are not the kind of people to ask for handouts. We want you to know that any help you are able to give is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Brian Brewer & family
