Help Nancy Green's Family with Funeral Costs

Beloved Friends,

With much sadness, I share that on the evening of July 31, 2024, Nancy Lorenza Green passed away. Her family and friends, the Frontera community, and many others are mourning her death. And thus, I launch this fundraiser to financially help her family with the expenses related to her recent passing.

My friends know me as Maria. My family and neighborhood friends know me as Mary. My dear friend Nancy L. Green called me Miss Chayo. She chose to call me based on my full, Mexican name, Maria del Rosario. Very typical of her, or should I say, very farkel of her.

Nancy L. Green was an awesome woman. But if you knew Nancy, you knew that already. You were familiar with her musical talents. Many of you knew of her writing, and poetic gifts. And she was a warrior for justice.

Indeed, her recent passing has left a void in our Frontera community, and even a greater void in the hearts of her family.
