Nantucket firefighters local 2509 is comprised of men and women who actively live and work in our Island community.

Union funds are used to support supplies, educational trainings, and community based events.

Local 2509 enjoys taking part in the Special Olympics ,team sponsorships at the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club,the Halloween parade, Fourth of July festivals and local scholarship programs and more

.

It also contributes to organizations which support mental health awareness and education , and Sharing Kindness who offers support to families and individuals who have experienced loss of loved ones through suicide.

Support is given to families of fellow Firefighters /EMTS locally and statewide when fellow firefighters pass providing honor guards and support.

With your donation, we will be able to continue to enhance and improve our education and support our island community .
