Help Naomi and Her Family Rebuild After Fire

Hi I’m Isaiah Menendez, youngest of 3 siblings and proud brother of Naomi Mungro. On 2/19/25 at 3:30pm I received a call from my sister that dropped my heart out of my body.

I answered the call to the sound of my sister agonizingly crying. “My house is on fire. Everything is gone.” Being in a different state and feeling completely helpless, I melted inside as if the flames were scorching me instead of her home.

My sister and awesome brother in law stepped out to do laundry and, in less than an hour, returned home to nothing. House in flames. Everything gone, including memories of our father, who suddenly passed during Covid.

For those that have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing my sister, you know that she’s likely the most caring person you’ve met, often times, quite literally, sacrificing her own health for the sake of others. My brother in law in a strong and hard working husband that works night shifts to support his family. If there’s anyone that doesn’t deserve this fate, it’s these two. And yet, here we are.

I’m creating this fundraiser asking for help and having faith for a miracle restoration. The funds will be used to replace all furniture, clothing and other items lost during this devastating life challenge. I also included expenses to help with security deposit and first month and a half rent for a new place.

As her brother, I will leave no stone unturned in my attempts to help bring full restoration to my sister and brother in law. I pray you’ll find it in your hearts to join me in this effort.
