Help Narek Study at the Zurich University of the Arts

Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,

My name is Narek Hekekyan, and I am excited to share that I have been accepted by the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) to continue my studies in cello performance under the guidance of Professor Orfeo Mandozzi. I am entering the 2nd year of a 3-year course. This opportunity is very important to me, and I am seeking your support to help make it possible.

These experiences have motivated me to further my education at ZHdK, where I hope to refine my skills and grow as a musician. I will also have the opportunity to present my country in diverse halls and environments around the world, striving to represent Armenia with the utmost dedication and excellence.

My goal is to leverage the knowledge and connections I gain to support and uplift the classical music scene in Armenia. I am committed to using what I learn to help young musicians and contribute to the cultural and musical development of my community.

The total cost of attending ZHdK is 21,000 CHF for tuition, living expenses, and other essentials. Thanks to the generous support of the LYRA Foundation, I have already received 6,000 CHF. However, I still need to raise 15,000 CHF to cover the remaining expenses.
