Help Talia and Jeelan study after fleeing the war

Hello! I am Ibrahim Arafat, I am from Gaza, Palestine. I live in Houston, TX and i am starting this campaign on behalf of my family member Talia. Here is a message from her:

Hello

I am Talia Ashour from Gaza, Palestine. Before October 2023, I used to be a student at the American School in Gaza (AISG). I loved my school, teachers and classmates. I was at the top of my class.

Last October, a war started in Gaza that stopped our lives and destroyed my home. My family lost it’s income as the war continued.

We lost everything in our home. I still remember my toys and the hoverboard I saved money for many months to be able to buy. My brother lost all his video games that he loves. Our car was destroyed and burned.

We were able to leave Gaza in January as things were getting very bad we could not tolerate the horrific things we saw and the horrors of the war.

Now we are in Egypt and we have no income, no money, neither do we have a home to live in or school to study at.

I am writing this to ask for your help, to help me study in a school in Egypt, and to help my family sustain life here as we are struggling to get by here.

I am raising this fund today to be able to afford schools while in Egypt. As we are in Egypt, we can't attend public schools because we, as all other Palestinians, are not able to obtain residency in Egypt so we are overstaying.

Please help us get back to school and live till we can go back to Gaza soon (Hopefully).
