Please Help Natalia After Tragic Car Accident

Donation protected

On the morning of January 31, 2025, Natalia Turull, had the flu and a high fever and asked me to take her to the doctor. On the way home, a tow truck backed up into the road directly in front of us giving me no time to swerve or hit the brakes. The impact was severe and mainly hit the right passenger side of the vehicle where Natalia was. The vehicle we were in was actually gifted to me by Natalia because I'd been struggling for so long and she has always been the type of person to help anyone she can, so I was not only devastated about her vehicle - but she was badly injured.

She broke 4 bones in her left foot and 2 in her left ankle. She also suffered 7 compound fractures in her right arm as well as anterior shoulder dislocation (basically her rotary cuff was shoved inwards), and that required surgery. They drilled 13 screws and plates into her arm and shoulder to keep her bones in place and was hospitalized and monitored for 17 days. She was discharged and sent home to recover but is now wheelchair-bound and will be for a long time. She only has her left (least dominant arm/hand) and her right foot to depend on which makes her immobile. As if her injuries were not enough, her vehicle was totaled and I did not get insurance on it like I promised I would so she now owes over $10k on it still. There was no GAP insurance.

She is a wonderful and loving single mother and has 2 beautiful children, just as loving as she is - a 6-year-old boy named Vinny who turns 7 on February 23rd, and a 4-year-old daughter named Eliana who turns 5 on February 28th. Because of her injuries, she can’t even hug them. This has completely turned all of their lives upside down and unfortunately; I was laid off because I missed work as a result of the accident and by the grace of God, I made it out with only a few scratches.

Please help her raise funds to pay some of the vehicle and medical expenses. She would never do this herself, but we (her family) are asking for any help that anyone would be willing to offer for the medical expenses as well as for her children. Outside of her entire life being forever changed as a result of this accident, she wishes nothing more than to be able to hug her children again and do something special for her children's birthdays. As luck would have it, the tow truck driver not only was driving with a suspended license, but he did not have insurance either, so this cannot be pursued in any way. Anything will help; prayers included as those cost nothing but a few minutes of your time.

If you’ve even read this far, we genuinely want to thank you for taking the time to read this and please know that Natalia would be overwhelmed with just the prayers and support alone. She is trying hard to stay strong, but we see her struggling and want nothing more than to relieve her of any pressures we can, even if it's just getting her groceries because she can't even do that herself anymore. Blessings to all, and God bless.
