Help Natalie fight sarcoma and avoid amputations

Hi, my name is Natalie Doran and I am facing the toughest battle of my life. In July 2023 I was diagnosed with a high-grade sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Doctors believe I have had this since 2021 and it has been misdiagnosed for 3 years and unfortunately spread into my hand.

The tumor is located in my finger and is threatening my ability to keep my limb.

Doctors have said that without urgent, specialized treatment, amputation and re amputation in my hand may be the only option. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to save my finger but this could help save the tissue and bones in my hand.

This diagnosis has been a devastating blow, being only thirty three years old with a child, you never expect it will happen to you, and now I am faced with the added stress that if I do not raise funds for this to be privately investigated and treated that I will have to have a re amputation in my hand, leaving me with life long impact. Sadly the NHS cannot help me with such treatments, leaving me with no other option than to ask for help from loved ones.

There is hope! I have the opportunity to receive life-saving treatment from specialists who focus on limb-saving therapies and innovative cancer care. With this treatment, I cannot only fight the sarcoma but also avoid the unimaginable prospect of losing my whole limb.

However, the costs are high—between medical bills, hospital stays, specialized surgeries, physical therapy, and medications, I am looking at expenses upwards of £85,000.
