Help Natalie Rainer Recover

At 7:15 AM on August 13th, 2022, Natalie Rainer was hit by a drunk driver while riding her bike on Osborne Turnpike. She is currently in critical condition battling life threatening injuries. Our hearts go out to the family of Natalie's riding companion, who did not survive.

Natalie's hospital bills are expected to be staggering due to a combination of uncertain insurance payments from the driver and the sheer amount of treatment required for the damage she has sustained. Her family started this gofundme page in an attempt to alleviate her financial burdens.

Throughout her entire adult life, Natalie has been steadily employed by non-profit organizations, including but not limited to Richmond’s Project Yoga, the Weinstein JCC, and most recently, Swim RVA. She’s long since dedicated herself towards the betterment of her beloved Richmond community. Now, she needs that community’s help.

All funds gained from this fundraiser will go towards paying Natalie’s medical bills, whether they be for treatment or the inevitable physical therapy, and towards helping her afford necessities in the period between her hospital release and eventual re-employment.
