Help Natalie with Rent

Hi, I’m Demi and I’m trying to make sure a near and dear friend of mine gets the help she needs. In the spirit of mutual aid, let’s help a talented, queer Black woman from being in a dire situation.

 

Natalie has done her best to stay afloat since being laid off in October. The fact of the matter is that we live in an economy that doesn’t create enough jobs or pay enough on average to meet the cost of living. Being laid off is a devastation in a market that doesn’t have enough space to keep us swimming in job offers. This is a shitty place to be for so, so many of us. I would really love to raise $4000 for Natalie. This will help her with rent for the next two months while she looks for a new position to allow her to sustain. We all know that the compounded stress of the job hunt and housing insecurity can make the effort towards restabilizing our lives so much more difficult. And I don’t want to see my friend lose her place to live.
