Help Natasha Overcome Cancer's Return

Donation protected
Natasha had always been a beacon of hope and guidance for new immigrants in Las Vegas. For nearly two decades, she dedicated herself to teaching English as a second language, helping thousands acclimate to their new country, culture, and language. Her passion for teaching had spanned almost 40 years, and her commitment never wavered.

Harry, Natasha's husband, was a retired Navy veteran who had served the country for twenty years. After his military service, he worked for the Census Bureau as a district manager. Their paths crossed in the summer of 2000 at the Ober Gatlinburg ski resort. Natasha was there with a group of students from her hometown of Ekaterinburg. The lush, green mountains and serene atmosphere of the resort became the backdrop of their love story. Harry, with his charming smile and kind heart, quickly won Natasha over.

In 2021, after over two decades of shared memories and unwavering support, Harry proposed to Natasha. They had been married for 23 blissful years, building a life together in Las Vegas. Their home was a haven of love and laughter, filled with cherished moments and the warmth of their shared experiences.

However, their idyllic life took a sudden turn in June 2023 when Natasha was diagnosed with breast cancer. The news was devastating, but they were fortunate to catch it in its early stages. With determination and the support of Harry, Natasha decided to undergo a double mastectomy. The surgery was successful, and after a period of recovery, she returned to her beloved students, eager to continue her work.

But fate had another challenge in store for them. This June, Natasha's cancer returned, this time in her spine. The recurrence was a heavy blow, and she could no longer work. Natasha underwent 25 rounds of radiation, and now she faces 10 rounds of chemotherapy. The treatments are incredibly expensive, and their insurance only covers 80% of the costs. Living on social security, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

Now, Natasha and Harry find themselves in a position they never expected—reaching out to the community that Natasha has devoted so much of her life to helping. They are humbly asking for donations to help cover the cost of her life-saving treatments. Any support, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

Natasha’s spirit remains unbroken, and with the help of the community, she hopes to overcome this challenge and continue to inspire and teach, just as she has for so many years.
