Help Nate and Ashli start their family

We went back and forth about sharing, but ultimately decided being silent keeps others silent that face a similar situation. Endometriosis is a common, yet rarely discussed disorder within the Black community. It has multiple effects, but most importantly it causes issues with the Fallopian tubes that typically lead to problems with natural pregnancies. When this happens, it leaves IVF, or basically technology aided fertilization, as the only method for pregnancy. So why are we telling you this? Plainly speaking we are 1 in 10 women that are affected by endometriosis. We have tried multiple treatments and unfortunately we have not been successful in getting pregnant. Our next route is to try IVF.

It is an expensive process with or without insurance, so we’re asking for any donations to help our goal of starting our family and beating the odds despite this disorder! We want to be advocates for Endometriosis awareness so any questions about it we’re more than happy to share additional info as we embark on our journey!!
