Help Nate with his APL Luekemia battle
Donation protected
Nate recently switched employers, and during the waiting period for insurance to take effect he noticed several unexplained bruises. Feeling a bit lethargic he went in for some blood tests. He was notified his blood was not clotting and he needed to return to the hospital, immediately. He was later diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). While the prognosis is generally favorable, Nate is required to be hospitalized for the next 4 weeks for treatments, at a minimum. Nate and Marissa have 4 young children (Zachary 10, Lucas 8, Danielle 4, and Addison 1), and Marissa is fresh out of a walking boot from a surgically repaired broken leg. She returned back to work from her leg injury only 5 days before this news.
The money collected will go to their family to assist in everyday life expenses and hospital visits as they manage through this very difficult news, and tough times.
Prayers and positive thoughts are welcomed, too.
Nate is planning to keep a caring bridge site updated to keep family, friends and followers updated on his journey.
