Help Nathalie Cover Her Father’s Funeral Costs

Nathalie holds many cherished memories of her father, Wade. Some of her favorites include their walks through Lincoln Park, learning to swim together at the lake in Shelton, riding bikes at Alki Beach, listening to CDs in his car, and searching for treasures at the Goodwill bins in Seattle. Tragically, Wade passed away last week from a fentanyl overdose after struggling with drug addiction for several years. While his challenges created distance between him and those he loved, Wade will always be remembered as the loving father he was during his better days.
The costs of cremation, the service, and legal fees have created a financial burden Nathalie is struggling to manage. Your support can help her give her father the farewell he deserves during this difficult time. She also hopes to raise awareness about the devastating effects of drug addiction, how it impacts families and loved ones, and the ongoing fentanyl crisis.
About Wade:
Wade Paradise was a long-time resident of West Seattle and a father to two children, Nathalie and Bryan Paradise. He was a creative individual and poured his heart into filmmaking during his early years. He contributed to some of Seattle’s most beloved films, including Sleepless in Seattle and 10 Things I Hate About You. Wade was a regular at his favorite coffee shop, Vivace, where he enjoyed connecting with others and people watching. He was known for being generous even when he had little to give and had a natural ability to make friends wherever he went. His outgoing personality made him a familiar face in the community, often running into people who recognized and appreciated his warmth.
