Help Nathan and Alli Rebuild Their Life In Asheville, NC
Donation protected
Since Alli and Nathan moved to Asheville two years ago, they’ve embraced their adopted city and all of its artsy quirkiness and natural beauty. One of their first purchases was a pair of paddleboards that they looked forward to getting back on the water each spring. Unfortunately, the rivers they love got a little too close for comfort this past week (see attached photos), and they are now struggling to reassemble much of what they lost. Fortunately for them, their losses were primarily material, things that can be replaced; for many others, the losses have been irreplaceable, and they are grieving along with the community over the loss of life, the loss of livelihoods and businesses, and the loss of their beloved River Arts District and Biltmore neighborhood which were a part of their daily lives. They are very grateful to friends and strangers who supported and helped them through a very anxious (and scary) time, and they are committed to staying in Asheville to help rebuild. They greatly appreciate the loving concern and offers of help from friends and family in other parts of the country – their support has been invaluable in getting them through this stressful time! We are seeking donations as small as $5.00 to help Alli and Nathan thrive in their new apartment. Thank you so much, with any questions please message Grace Todd, as Alli and Nathan currently have very unreliable cellphone service.
