Help Nathan Get Out of Custody

On Thursday May 23 at 2:00 am our family was awakened by the Gwinnett and Lilburn Police Department. They took our eldest son, Nathan into police custody under allegations that Nathan was a terroist threat.

Nathan began school in the Fall of 2018 at Providence Christian Academy. Previously he attended Tucker High School. Nathan grew up in a Christian family and is a first generation student. Nathan's adjustment to Providence Christian Academy was a difficult transition. Nathan was bullied by some of his peers enduring comments such as "You are not from Africa, you are from Arab you must be a terroist." and "Since you are a terrorist when are you going to shoot us up." These comments somehow made their way back to the school where the school alerted the police department.

We believe wholeheartedly that Nathan is innocent. Nathan confided only in his brother about the bullying. We have made sacrifices so that our son could have access to better education. We are heartbroken about this situation and that our son is going throigh this. Any amount to get Nathan back into our home would help. All we want is for Nathan to come home so that he can grow up and continue his education and achieve the great things that we know he has the potential for.
