Early on January 27, Nathan was at work, flipping pancakes and manning the grill. An unknown man ran into the restaurant, came behind the counter and stabbed Nathan in the back and then fled the scene. No arrests have been made, and the attacker is still at large.

Nathan sustained a bad stab wound, narrowly missing several major organs. Fortunately, he is able to comfortably rest at home while he recovers. It will be several more weeks before Nathan will be able to work, and expenses are piling up.
