Help Nathan The Brave’s cancer treatment

Donation protected
In June 2017 our world was turned upside down. It was when our football-mad, outgoing, cheery nephew Nathan was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour. He immediately underwent a life-saving surgery to remove the part of the tumour, a surgery which saved his life but left him having to learn how to walk, talk and even eat again. Now 9 years-old, he is a determined little guy who overcame all of these obstacles with a wicked sense of humour and a steely determination.

Unfortunately, in November 2018 we found out that another tumour has appeared – despite being in chemotherapy treatment since July 2017. He has another battle to win, but in true Nathan-style, he is taking it in his stride.

Due to the intensity of care Nathan requires during this challenging time, both of Nathan’s parents are working in a full-time caring capacity for him, and his younger brother, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to meet the expenses that are occurring. We are fundraising to help support Nathan and his family as he undergoes alternative treatments and therapies that can improve the quality of his life, but aren’t funded by the HSE.

We would appreciate any donation – big or small – and we are grateful for any support we receive.
