Medical Expenses

My 13 year old brother Nathaniel had been missing since late Friday afternoon, we thought he was just being a teenager out with his friends but when he still didn’t come home my mom turned to the cops for help & made a police report in the morning. Officer Anderson from Hemet PD told my mother they didn’t have the man power to search hospitals or do anything else to helps us. My family made flyers, contacted friends and his school, tried tracking his phone, searched city after city and NOTHING. Wednesday afternoon I went to my moms to pass out flyers in Hemet and a Riverside police officer came to tell us if we can identify a boy they had in the ICU who was hit by a car FRIDAY night in HEMET! Our hearts were shattered. My baby brother was airlifted to a Moreno Valley hospital and in an adult icu because they thought he was 20 years old. Riverside Pd contacted hemet Pd numerous times to see if they had missing persons matching the description and they said no. My baby brother was alone in the hospital with severe brain trauma and skin graphs to his eye. They’re still trying to control his swelling & they want us to prepare for anything but we’re praying my brother pulls through.

My mom is a single mother with 3 young kids and I myself have a toddler. My brother needs someone with him 24hrs a day and it’s going to be very difficult for just us both trying to switch off and also take care of the other kids. Anything helps with my mom being able to hopefully get a hotel for a few weeks close to the hospital so we can also have my other siblings close.
