Help Nazeer's Family - Lost to Senseless Tragedy

I can’t put into words how much my brother, Nazeer, meant to me and everyone who was lucky enough to know him. He was his family’s keeper, and a new daddy to beautiful baby Adeya. He was less than a month from his 25th birthday, and was on his way to the top with his music. He did everything to the fullest— loved deeply, grinded tirelessly, inspired intensely, smiled constantly— and will forever be an inspiration and guiding light to us.


On Friday, February 26th, he was the victim of an attempted robbery, and was shot and killed while in LA. It was a completely heinous murder that will forever impact so many people. He leaves behind his parents, 3 younger brothers, me as the eldest sister and 2 younger sisters, his girlfriend of over 8 years and their baby, who is not yet 1 years old. I’ll never know or understand why he was taken from us this way. I’ll never begin to know or understand the cruelty and the senselessness of it all. There’s not enough justice in this physical world that will ease this pain because it won’t bring him back to us.

These funds will help cover costs associated with getting him back to Atlanta, laying him to rest, and taking care of his new baby, Adeya Rose (both in a college savings plan and in living expenses). A death in the family is devastating enough, but filling the shoes of the primary financial provider of his precious family is even harder.
