Help needed! A New Hip for Chef Rick

Hello, my name is Katie Dillon and I'm requesting financial help regarding Chef Ricks total hip replacement. I met him about seven years ago at Abundant Life Ministries Celebrate Recovery. He has been cooking for House of Hope St Pete since it started in 2015.

Rick has been alongside Pastor Tim Marshick since 2008, he has been such an inspiration to us all. Chef Rick and I are family, he is my dad. Rick has been in a lot of pain for quite some time yet still pushes through every day, to assure we all have a hearty meal to eat, no matter what the occasion.

Yes, this may be a very short notice, and a large amount of money to raise. Rick has always been one to put others first before his own needs.

Rick decided it was time to take the initiative to go to the doctor and find out why he has been in so much pain and it was determined on 2/16/2024 that he needs a total hip replacement.

Rick needs help to meet the financial obligations of the surgery, doctors' fees, hospital fees, equipment rentals, medications, etc. So, he can continue with doing the Lord's work and serving the people in the community.

He Prepares the meals for Celebrate Recovery, House of Hope St Pete Church, Pinellas Hope, Women of Purpose, Disciples of Hope, Children’s Outreach and other special occasions. Chef Rick now needs our help. The surgery is scheduled for 3/6/2024 at Saint Anthony’s hospital. It has been said that Rick needs to pay the copays of doctors' fees and surgery on 3/4/2024. The surgery alone cost $2,120.20. Any contribution that is made is gratefully appreciated; may God bless the giver.
