Help needed after tragic accident
Donation protected
On Monday June 19th my best friend Ashley Milot received a gut wrenching phone call that her husband Jordan Milot had been severely injured in a tragic accident at work. The worst call anyone could receive and a call that would change their lives forever.
Jordan was at work in Hamilton on Monday when he was struck by a bulldozer from the torso down. He sustained multiple serious life threatening injuries and was transported to a local trauma unit where he has received multiple surgeries to repair the damages. He has several more surgeries to undergo to repair his bones, muscles and skin.
They have a very long and difficult road ahead of them. His wife Ashley now has to make some very difficult decisions for their future. She is torn between being at her husbands side or working to carry their financial burdens as home owners. Jordan will have to remain in the hospitals intensive care unit in Hamilton for several months before he can even be transferred to a rehabilitation facility in there home city. He is going to need around the clock care when he does return home as well as wheel chair accessible renovations to their home.
We are starting this page in an effort to allow Ashley to remain at Jordan's side as much as needed and not having worry about daily finances and lost wages.
we ask that you give Jordan and Ashley's family the privacy and space that they need during this difficult time. If you would like to write them your well wishes we hope that you would do so on here so they can look at it at a later date and not feel overwhelmed by private messages and phone calls. We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time,
