Help needed because of surgery
Donation protected
I am at my writs end and don't have a clue what else to do... so I'm once again swallowing my pride and asking for help.
Me being sidelined because of my surgery continues to bite us in the rear end. At the minimum, it has set us back, on average, $400-450 per month (x3.5 months) when I've had no income coming in. On top of that, our air conditioner died two weeks before my surgery. The repairman was nice enough to fix it and let Mom pay on it each month, but the "normal" extra money in the budget has been going to pay on that bill each month.
I was fortunate enough to work a few half days in November, which helped a little bit, but not enough to breathe yet. I still have not been fully released from the doctor because I'm still having pain along the incision site & am easily fatigued... but I'm actively looking for positions that have no (or at most, minimum) lifting requirements that I can work without being fully released. I've also started making shirts & ornaments with the cricut in hopes of bringing in some extra money that way. With a bit of luck, I can start donating plasma again at the end of the month (Dec)... but that's still several weeks away (federal guidelines won't let you donate plasma for 4-6 months after surgical procedures).
Avoiding this exact situation is why I was planning to wait till after the first of the year, so I could save some money to get us through, before having the surgery, but my body said "now" instead... so Iwas left with no choice of waiting.
I hate to ask, but if anyone can help us out, even a little bit, we'd really appreciate it. We are a full month behind on at least three important bills & we've spent 3 months "putting bandaids" on the situation to get by, but we can't keep doing that. I feel like I'm at the end of my rope & have nothing else to give...BUT I know that God will provide for us in some way & THAT'S where my focus is!
Thanks for taking time to read this!
