Diana's Liver Transplant Fund

My wife was recently diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis and is hoping to receive a transplant soon.  She was initially diagnosed with liver failure on Sept 12th of 2019 and since then it has been progressing at an alarming rate. She has been in and out of the hospital since then and has had a total of ten bands placed in her upper gi tract to stop bleeding of her varices due to portal hypertension.  6 blood transfusions due to blood loss from the bleeding varices.  One of her symptoms is ascites which is fluid buildup which on Oct 18th they removed over 5 liters of fluid from her.  She is now also dealing with Hepatic encephalopathy which is the loss of brain function due to ammonia buildup due to her liver failure.  All this along with countless blood draws, transjugular liver biopsies, endoscopies, and days and weeks at the 3 different hospitals, specialists clinics, and other clinics/labs. On Oct 4th her meld score was an 8, as of Oct 17th it skyrocketed to a 29.  They are having a board on October 24th to have her placed on the UNOS liver transplant list and we are praying that it goes in her favor.  We spent the week of Oct 14th to 18 at Shands Hospital in Gainsville for the liver transplant evaluation, test, and to get a few procedures done although they were unable to perform a TIPS procedure due to the amount of damage her liver has. The transplant hospital is a 5 hour drive from our house, any funds donated will go directly towards medications, copays, ambulance bills, hotels and food and childcare cost for the times we are away at the transplant hospital or at the local hospital.  Post transplant, we would need to stay in the Gainesville Fl area for a minimum of a month along with multiple trips for the next 6months to a year. She is a 31 year old Army Veteran and mother, the love of my life and I am doing everything in my power to get her the help she needs so she can beat this.  Anything you could contribute would be greatly appreciated.
