Help Needed for Cat's Life-Saving Surgery
Donation protected
Update : surgery will be performed by petsurgery in Fort lauderdale. I will post the bill when she arrives there. HELP !!!!!Just clarify stuff. The amount of $1956 was paid. I am looking for a veterinarian who can perform the procedure at a minimal cost. The emergency fee exceeds $6,000. The prices listed above were for yesterday's x-rays and medications. She needs one of her legs amputated. Donation links will be given once I have found a clinic to do the procedure.Yesterday, my elderly neighbor's cat was assaulted by two enormous dogs owned by another neighbor. The 150-pound man chose to walk his two large dogs, which enjoy chasing tiny creatures. Both English Mastiff dogs attacked the poor cat; one of my other neighbors ran in to save it, which is the only reason the cat is still alive. I was working from home yesterday when the neighbors came on my door to seek for help. I rushed and summoned the firefighters to rescue her out of the engine of someone's automobile that had taken refuge after the attack. They were able to take her out, and I raced her to the emergency vet facility. The total was $1,956, NOT including the surgery price she will require to save her life, for which the dogs' owner stated that they would only be able to pay $1,000 of the $1,956.00. My elderly neighbors were unable to pay, therefore I was responsible for the remaining balance. Please aid; she requires emergency surgery. I can't do this alone. I understand it is not my obligation, but I refuse to let her die without trying.
