Support premature baby in NICU for Indian family

Dear All,

 

This fundraising is to help a family in India for their premature baby born on 02/12/2022, 8 weeks prior to the due date because of arterial blockage in the placenta. The baby is extremely weak, weighs only 3 pounds (1.3 kg), and had to be kept in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for further observation. After 24 hours, the baby got sepsis infection, for which doctors started the required treatment and careful observation. Doctors are keeping the baby in the NICU for around 30 days for complete monitoring.

 

Only one member of the family is a bread earner and during COVID, he lost his job and has no medical benefits or health insurance for him or his family. The medical cost for the NICU will be a huge burden for him.
