Help needed for NY music scene's Funmi Ononaiye

My name is Tinku Bhattacharyya, and Funmi Ononaiye is one of the first people I met in New York over 20 years ago, and someone I am proud to call my brother. Alongside Brian Bacchus and Marc Cary, we have come together with Funmi's sister, Roli Okome Ononaiye to humbly request your offerings & donations to support one of NY city's greatest music ambassadors.

As some of you may know, Funmi Ononaiye was rushed to the hospital last month, after the alarm was raised by Funmi's friends and co-workers regarding his whereabouts. He is starting his journey toward recovery and will remain in the hospital for the foreseeable future. Funmi needs our resources to support his medical needs as he continues healing, and to ensure he can keep up with his rent and other bills, as he journeys back to being the formidable presence on the scene who many of us know, love. and depend upon. Brian Bacchus, Marc Cary and I are working with Fumni's sister, Roli Okome Ononaiye, (who has travelled to New York to help), to connect with his friends and loved ones who wish to pledge their support.
