Help Needed To Cover Bills Piling Up

Hi all,

For those of you who dont know me, my name is Anthony, and I am a 46yo Partner, and Father of 2 boys. One of my lads is 14 and the oldest 21.

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Crohns disease, which is a degenerative disease that affects the digestive tract, and has symptoms such as severe cramps, extreme nausea, constant diarrhoea, and starts causing issues with eyes, joints, and skin.

Since diagnosis I have always struggled to maintain a steady income due to the symptoms, but I have always done my best to get up every morning and drag myself through my work days to provide for my beautiful partner and sometimes lovely children . However, in June 2021 I was admitted to hospital, and had 50cm of bowel removed. Recovery was painful, and at times I sincerely thought that this was where I was going to die... Thank goodness that wasn't the case, but I ended up with another issue due to the Anaesthetic... My heart is now in Atrial Fibrillation which means I now have an irregular heartbeat. Yay.

My health has never been the same since. I have had 2 jobs since the surgery but the first was way too early following the surgery, and the second highlighted 2 facts.

1. My ability to focus and concentrate has been majorly affected by the medications I now have to take.

2. I get exhausted from the most basic physical things and end up needing to lie down, or sleep alot more than I ever have.

So with all of this said, I now find myself in Australia, with little to no support, my partner is struggling to keep our heads above water, wr have a 6ft2 14yo who eats like a mchine and grows out of his basketball boots every 2 minutes, we have a granddaughter due in a few weeks... And Im broke as a joke, and unable to work due to my conditions.

Now for those of you who do know me, the decision to create a gofundme for help has come at the cost of my last shred of pride and dignity, but rhe way I see it, our needs as a family are greater than any need for pride.
