Help Needed to Save Mr. Salaudin's Leg From Amputation
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Neelam Salaudin Kasu, and I, together with my siblings, Arfaan Kasu, Shabana Kasu and Tausheef Kasu, are reaching out to you to seek help for my father, Salaudin Kasu who is 79 years of age and lives in Mombasa, Kenya. Earlier this year, my father developed a wound on his foot that, unfortunately, progressed into gangrene. This led to the amputation of his last toe. The gangrene was caused by blockages in the arteries of the feet.
Recently, a second angiogram revealed a worsening of the blockages in both of his feet, particularly in his left leg, where the artery is now completely blocked. This development has made the situation even more critical. The doctors have informed us that without immediate surgical intervention, there is a high risk of my father losing his entire limb.
After consulting with doctors in India, it has been advised that my father urgently needs an angioplasty to restore blood flow to his legs. This procedure is critical to save his leg from further deterioration. The doctors have also recommended that once blood flow is restored, his fourth toe should be amputated to prevent the spread of gangrene.
However, without the angioplasty, any further amputations will only worsen his condition and increase the likelihood of more frequent and severe amputations. We need to act quickly to prevent this from happening.
The cost of the surgery, along with the associated medical expenses, is beyond what we can afford. This is why I am reaching out to you, friends, family, and kind-hearted people, to help us raise the funds needed for my father's surgery. Your support will not only help save his leg but also significantly improve his quality of life.
Please consider donating whatever you can. No amount is too small, and every contribution will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, please share this campaign with your network to help us reach as many people as possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your support during this difficult time.
Your reward is with God.
With gratitude,
Neelam Salaudin Kasu
