Donate to mama Camille's emergency medical care

When we got the call about the sweet mama cat Camille, we knew we had to step in and help. She had JUST given birth to her third litter, and it was just a matter of time before a neighbor's dog killed her babies... again. Camille had already suffered so much... this friendly girl was the only kitten left outside when her mom went missing. The neighbors took in her siblings and left Camille ALONE to fend for herself. Then she gave birth, and they gave away all of her kittens, again leaving this friendly girl-still a kitten herself- outside and alone. When she was pregnant with her 2nd litter, the neighbor's dog chased her off a balcony, and she lost all of her babies. Luckily, Camille only suffered minor injuries.

We brought Camille to safety and she was the best mom! All of her kittens thrived, and Camille was finally safe and warm. Then, one day, the foster found Camille limp and struggling to breathe. We rushed her to the ER, where they put her on oxygen and said she had been close to death. Her lungs were congested, and they suspected pneumonia. After days in and out of the hospital, they determined she likely has asthma and will need treatment for life. But they can't rule out a mold infection without more extensive testing. We really need help covering the hospital stay so we can continue diagnosing and treating this sweet cat. We are independent rescuers, and did not expect that helping a mama cat and her kittens would lead to such a high hospital bill. Anything you can contribute would be a great help.

PS: Camille's kittens are doing great and most of them have already been placed in loving homes!
