Help Neil Replace Lost Equipment
Our friend Neil Grabowsky is an amazing individual who lost over two decades worth of photography and videography equipment in what feels like a blink of an eye. Tropical Storm Ida hit everyone in a different way, unfortunately it rocked Neil at his core.
Neil lost all of the equipment he used to make a living as an accomplished photographer and film producer. But the true devastation for Neil came from the realization that he would no longer be able to pursue his passion - because most of his equipment wouldn’t be covered by insurance. The crazy thing about flooding is that most insurance policies require a specific add-on to cover any flooding damage, something you don’t have when you don’t live in a flood zone.
Neil has produced stellar work over the years for thousands of people - capturing engagements, weddings, babies, community events, and so many more. He has travelled the world with his photo equipment, and his images and video have reached the hearts of millions, capturing stories that without him might have never been told.
If you are lucky enough to know Neil, then you know he is an amazing husband, father, son and friend. As friends of Neil we are starting this page to help someone who has gone above and beyond for the people around him - let’s all step up and help him when he needs it!
ABC News requested footage of Neil’s experience for their coverage of Ida’s aftermath. The full version of the video is below.
