Help Neil Survive To See His Granddaughters
Donation protected
Hello, we are the children of Neil Falconer and appreciate you sparing some time to read his story. My brother, Ben, and I are trying to raise funds to assist with our Dad’s medical bills. 21 days ago he suffered a massive brain bleed and stroke, and was on death’s door. Thanks to the fast action of our Mum and the fantastic Drs who operated, Dad is on the road to recovery after being on death’s door not once, but twice. His specialist Drs are amazed at how he has responded after suffering such a massive brain bleed and being so close to death.
Dad has been in ICU for 20+ days now and as many of you may know, the costs in Zimbabwe are astronomical. Dad does have medical insurance but sadly the limit has now been reached. We have been paying his other medical bills plus a deposit to the hospital ourselves along with the amazing help of family, many friends and the community of Mum and Dad’s church. However, with the insurance running out, Dad still in a serious condition, future rehabilitation costs and mounting medical bills, Dad is facing immense challenges. As much as we don’t like to ask, we feel we have to turn to crowdfunding to help our Dad.
Dad is a fighter, having come through two major brain operations after a massive brain bleed, and is currently fighting pneumonia and sepsis. His level of consciousness is higher, and he is responsive when we visit him. We know he wants to survive to be with his family again, especially his two precious granddaughters, Isla and Emma.
We humbly ask that you share this link with friends and family, and, if possible, give. Every donation, no matter how small will be appreciated and helpful to Dad on his journey of recovery and being with his family again.
