Help Nelly Diaz Walk Again: Surgery Fund

Hello, my name is Nelly Diaz. I have been battling juvenile arthritis for years, and it's progressively getting worse. I have done every steroid injection possible, medications, and treatments to try and help. I'm at the point where I have to use a walker and sometimes even a wheelchair. No one at 20 years old should have to be limited this way. I can't even work or go to school because I need assistance at all times. They have now recommended for me to get surgery because from battling this for so long, I now have a second diagnosis: Gonarthrosis. My family here in México is helping raise money for surgery, and my family in the US is helping me as well and setting up this GoFundMe to help with the cost. The total cost is 180,000 pesos, which is in Mexican money; in US dollars, it is 10,000. So far, I have 50,000 pesos, which in US dollars is 2,546. My goal is to at least get 8,000 to cover surgery and recovery since my mother will have to be out of work for a while to care for me. I am very grateful for every donation. Anything helps, so I can live a better life without pain and continue my education.
